Below you will find recipes for holidays and special occasions. Enjoy.
Memorial Day Hamburgers
2 lb. ground beef
1/4 cup Worchestershire sauce
2 tbls soy sauce
1/2 tea onion powder
1/2 tea garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
Start the grill!! (do this, first you want it nice and hot).Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Form six good sized patties, making sure to put a little divot in the center of each (this will keep your burgers from getting a hump). Place burgers on the grill and close the lid. Now I don’t have a nice little time chart for this, because it depends on a number of things (heat of the grill, do you keep moving the meat around, outside temp, even humidity). I usually go and do something short, so I can keep an eye on things. Flip at least once. I know many people say that you should only flip your meat once, however after countless meals cooked over an open flame, I can safely say that it has not changed anything by me poking around at it. In fact I think it is why my grilled chicken doesn’t come out burnt. Enjoy! Mix up a little swamp water to go with it. A friend of mine tells me that for a more adult version mix in a little vodka!
